Guiding The Boss

Guiding is the formal process of coming alongside the New Boss and assisting them in their development.  Guiding can be done through:

  • Management Roundtables (Formal sessions with groups of managers where current dilemmas are addressed with the tools learned in Basic Training, facilitated by and experienced Guide)
  • Individual Guide Meetings (Formal monthly one-on-one sessions in person or by phone.  The Guide will work with the New Boss to solve pressing issues using a structured coaching and feedback process)
